A MIPI to USB connector solution. This production ready System on Module is tightly integrated with the Lattice CrossLinkU-NX33 device to significantly reduce customers Time To Market.

RISC-V + Zephyr OS, MIPI, USB2/3 PHY for Robotics, Smart cameras, Machine vision and other USB3 applications.

This System on Module solves the MIPI to USB connector issue by creating a high bandwidth USB pipe to the host computer from the camera MIPI output.

Typical Applications

  • Robotics, automotive, industrial applications
  • Camera aggregation
  • Camera-USB bridging
  • AI processing on the edge for smart cameras

2 Flavors

  • Connectivity: 14 differential pairs, no SSRAM
  • Compute: 6 differential pairs, 32MB 0.5GBps SSRAM

Number of cameras supported

  • tinyCLUNX33 design can support up to 7 concurrent camera streams.
  • We have a working system that supports two FHD (1080p) streams at 30fps.

Supported bandwidth

  • 3.5 Gbps application-layer throughput

ISP Support

  • We provide Streamlogic ISP for all camera streams.

Cameras supported

  • tinyCLUNX33 supports all MIPI cameras.
  • We have drivers available out of the box for some of the most popular cameras such as the Raspberry Pi Camera v2 (IMX219), OV9281, IMX568, and OG02C10.
  • We can develop a new driver for your sensor if needed.

How tinyCLUNX33 is different

  • tinyCLUNX33 uses a system level approach for converting MIPI camera streams into UVC streams. This means you are free to use any MIPI camera for your application.
  • tinyCLUNX33 supports multiple cameras while competitors' solutions focus on single-camera USB modules.
  • The SoM has a soft RISC-V processor, onboard memory, power supply, and clock that allow significant processing on the board.

Note: This pricing is for development use only. There is a separate software IP license needed for production use. Please contact us for production pricing.
