The UPduino v3.1 is a low-cost, open-source Lattice iCE40UP5K FPGA development board widely used in university digital logic and embedded systems courses worldwide.
All FPGA GPIO is brought out to PMOD-compatible 0.1" headers for fast prototyping. Full open-source toolchain support including Yosys, nextpnr, and IceStorm — no proprietary software required.
Hardware features:
- Lattice iCE40UP5K FPGA: 5.3k LUTs, 1Mb SPRAM, 120Kb DPRAM, 8 multipliers
- All FPGA GPIO on PMOD-compatible 0.1" headers
- 12MHz on-board oscillator
- USB programming via FTDI
- On-board 3.3V and 1.2V regulators
- Open-source KiCad schematic and layout
- RGB LED
