Sensor Driver Development, Tuning & Custom Camera Modules

Camera sensor work is a core part of our engineering practice, not a bolt-on. We develop and maintain sensor drivers, tune image quality, and design custom camera modules and adapter boards around the sensor your product actually needs.

We take this from register-level driver bring-up through ISP tuning to a manufacturable camera module.

Camera Sensor Engineering, End to End

From driver bring-up to image tuning to the physical camera module, sensor engineering is one of our deepest areas of experience. This work underpins the tinyCLUNX33 platform and every camera integration we've shipped for customers.

Sensor Driver Development

Every camera integration starts with a driver that talks to the sensor correctly — and stays correct as you move from prototype to production. Our engineers bring up MIPI CSI-2 and I2C/SCCB sensor drivers, most often on Zephyr RTOS, taking them from register-level bring-up through to a stable video subsystem integration.

ISP Tuning & Image Quality

Raw sensor output rarely looks production-ready out of the box. We develop and tune the image signal processing pipeline for your specific sensor and use case:

  • 3A: auto exposure control (AEC), auto gain control (AGC), auto white balance (AWB)

  • Gamma curve tuning

  • Lens shading correction

  • Color correction matrix tuning

Custom Camera Modules & Adapter Design

Beyond drivers and tuning, we design the physical camera module — sensor, optics, and adapter board — engineered for your form factor and host interface. Our in-house SMT assembly lets us go from schematic to a working camera module quickly, without waiting on an external contract manufacturer for early builds.

Sensors We Currently Support

We actively support the following MIPI CSI-2 image sensors across our platforms, with drivers, ISP tuning, and ongoing support:

  • Sony IMX412

  • Sony IMX219

  • OmniVision OV9281

  • onsemi AR0144

  • Sony IMX568

  • Sony IMX664

  • OmniVision OG02C10

  • OmniVision OV9234

Need a sensor that isn't on this list? We regularly bring up new MIPI CSI-2 sensors as part of a design engagement.

Why Work With Us

  • Full-stack sensor experience: driver development, ISP tuning, and physical module design under one team.
  • Production focus: designs built to move from prototype to manufacturing, not just a demo.
  • Hands-on team: engineers who work the hard problems directly.
