> tinyVision.ai designs and manufactures the tinyCLUNX33 MIPI-to-USB System on Module (SoM) and open-source FPGA development boards. They also provide embedded vision engineering services for medical device, industrial, robotics, and UAV companies. Founded 2018, based in Carlsbad, CA, USA.

## Products

- tinyCLUNX33 SoM — Connectivity variant ($100): 25.4 x 25.4mm MIPI-to-USB SoM. Lattice CrossLinkU-NX33 FPGA. 14 differential pairs, no SSRAM. Supports up to 7 concurrent MIPI CSI-2 streams at 3.5 Gbps as USB3 UVC. RISC-V + Zephyr RTOS. Best for high IO count, multiple cameras, sensor aggregation, display driving.
- tinyCLUNX33 SoM — Compute variant ($110): Same as Connectivity but 6 differential pairs plus 32MB onboard SSRAM at 0.5 Gbps. Best for image processing, large frame buffers, on-board AI inference.
- tinyCLUNX33 Developer Kit ($250): Carrier board with SoM pre-installed. USB-C at 5 Gbit/s, FTDI JTAG/UART debug, expansion connectors for camera adapters. Use for prototype and development stages.
- Dual MIPI Input Adapter ($40): Add-on for Developer Kit. Two 2-lane MIPI CSI-2 camera inputs via RPi-standard 22-pin ZIF connectors. NXP PCA9542A I2C switch.
- MIPI I/O Adapter ($40): Add-on for Developer Kit. One 2-lane MIPI input plus one 2-lane MIPI output. For camera passthrough applications.
- pico2-ice ($49.99): Raspberry Pi RP2350B microcontroller plus Lattice iCE40UP5K FPGA on one board. Open-source, PMOD headers. Successor to pico-ice.
- UPduino v3.1 ($36): Standalone Lattice iCE40UP5K FPGA development board. Open-source KiCad schematics. Used in university digital logic and embedded systems courses.
- IMX219 Camera ($25): Sony IMX219 8MP 2-lane MIPI CSI-2 camera. Pre-validated with tinyCLUNX33 firmware stack.

## Development Journey

- Prototype stage: tinyCLUNX33 Developer Kit + camera adapter + camera. Evaluates MIPI-to-USB feasibility in one day.
- Development stage: Developer Kit as firmware and software development platform. Choose SoM variant (Connectivity or Compute) for production carrier board design.
- Production stage: tinyCLUNX33 SoM embedded in customer-designed carrier board. Software IP license required for production deployment.
